To my dear friends and family,

I've accepted the challenge of participating in VISIONWALK, a big step in boosting research funds for retinal degenerative diseases, hosted by The Foundation Fighting Blindness (FFB).

The Northern Virginia/DC Metro VisionWalk is only a few weeks away! The Walk will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2008 at Northern Virginia Community College, Alexandria Campus. Registration begins at 9:00 A.M. and the Walk starts at 10:00 A.M. We will wrap up the event by 12:00 P.M.

I'm doing this in tribute to my family who has committed their time and energy to FFB's mission for more than 10 years for me, my brother, and millions of individuals with retinal degenerative diseases. I want to give back by gathering my friends to walk together on this team, The Rolling Stones! To sign up, click on the personal page link at the bottom of this e-mail.

The fundraising goal for The Rolling Stones team is $1,500. My parents will match up to $1,500, for total of $3,000! With your support and donation, I know we can meet, even exceed this goal.

VisionWalk is the Foundation Fighting Blindness' national signature fundraising event. Since 2006, VisionWalk has raised over $4 million to find treatments and cures for retinal degenerative diseases that currently affect over nine million Americans. The Walk supports the work of world-renowned researchers who specialize in areas such as genetics, gene therapy, transplantation, artificial retina implants, and pharmaceutical and nutritional therapies. In short, we're doing great things by walking-and it's FUN!

The Walk is a wonderful family-friendly event, featuring a bouncehouse, a face painter, and other fun activities. Even Dora the Explorer will be there to walk with and get pictures with the kids! Your tax-deductible gift will make a difference in the lives of many!
